Good nutrition is essential for overall health and well-being, as it supports the body’s growth, energy, and immune function while reducing the risk of chronic diseases.
Foodfit is dedicated to promoting healthy eating and better nutrition for all.
Yvonne’s journey into food and nutrition began in 2008, after the birth of her first child. Motivated by a desire to provide her family with healthier meals, she transitioned from a career in banking to follow her passion for food and wellness. This shift led to the creation of Foodfit.

Meet Yvonne
Hello, I’m Yvonne, a Qualified Nutrition Advisor
Since graduating in 2020, I’ve worked with several clients to help them lose weight and build stamina. I’m passionate about sharing my knowledge with friends and family to help them improve their health and achieve their best, finding joy through good nutrition. It can be frustrating when you don’t see results from a diet, but it’s important to remember that achieving a healthy balance and maintaining a weight you’re happy with takes time and effort. Reaching a point where you enjoy your food and feel in control of your eating habits is a great accomplishment.
My Personal Journey with Nutrition
I grew up in a family that didn’t pay much attention to portion sizes, and my first real awareness of a balanced diet came when I went for a physical exam at 19. The doctor told me I would likely gain a lot of weight as an adult. At the time, I weighed 45kg, considered myself fairly average in terms of weight, and was active in sports at school. I was initially frustrated with the doctor’s comment, but the idea of gaining weight stuck with me. As I got older, I decided to pursue a career in nutrition so I could help others benefit from the knowledge I gained through my studies in food and nutrition.
Fitness and Healthy Eating
I enjoy going to the gym, and my favourite workouts include Shape, Grid, Rumble, Power Pump, Treadmill, and Pilates. I always incorporate healthy eating into my routine because it helps with stamina and energy.
